Went to see the GF last night to do a little damage control since receiving the bad news.
She is so strong. That is part of what makes her so attractive to me. She is angry, sad, anxious, and a million other things right now. But she has already identified the available jobs and come up with a game plan all in two days time. I think I would still be in the "sitting on my ass with a tub of icecream phase".
I took her to the batting cages last night to blow off a some steam. She really enjoyed it and I was glad it provided her with a little relief.
On the way home she mentioned that we were by the university where she will no longer be working in two weeks.
We both have a fantasy involving her office at the university....
That one has been checked off of the list.
Our way of saying eff you to the university that screwed her over.
