Random bit #1

Was talking to a friend last night who was telling me about a friend whose daughter has been fighting a rare for of cancer for several years. They have decided to stop all treatments....She is only 16. I don't even know the girl and it makes my heart ache.

There are days that I get up and I am not so content with my life. This is the sort of thing that slaps you in the face and wakes you up. I am soooo lucky to have this life. I am lucky to wake up healthy everyday!

Random bit #2

Am going to see the GF for the first time in 3 weeks! She has been in France singing with her choir. I have actually missed her over the past couple of weeks as I couldn't even talk to her while she was abroad. It is kinda scary and feels good all at the same time. I think I like having someone to miss.....We are going out to the gay bars/clubs in Washington D.C. on saturday night. I have never been and hope to have great stories to share when I return!

Random bit #3

I have two close friends that I have had since middle school. We always find our way back to each other. Two of us still live in the same city but don't get together often due to us both being very busy. We were talking about how all three of us need to get together. We just have this chemistry when we are all together and do nothing but laugh until our sides hurt. She was adorable and was like I'm gonna quote jack johnson on this one..."its always better when we're together". I could have cried, because she is right. The three of us just work together...
