I am taking the GF to a show that a friend is playing this weekend. For the most part, the people that will be there either already know that I'm gay or I just don't feel the need to explicitly come out to them.
There is however one friend, B, that might be there that does need an explanation. I have known her since I was 10. I have been deathly afraid to come out to her and I don't really know why. I have just been friends with her for so long and I don't want to change that.
Anyhow, I really like this girl that I am with right now and I want her to meet all of my friends.
I sent B an email earlier this week explaining everything to her. I have lied to her quite a bit and needed to let her know why. Her response was as follows:
"Ok. I love you and I don’t care who you like/love/fuck or otherwise. I've always just wanted you to find someone you would be happy with.
So....do you find me sexy?...To soon? Hehehehehehe "
I have great friends! Her response is better than I could have ever imagined.
