Lakes – I love the lake. No sharks or jellyfish! Just the occasional minnow that thinks my freckles, against the backdrop of my extreme paleness, resembles a tasty treat. Camping at the lake is the best. I love sleeping under the stars and waking up by the water!

Love – I love being in love. I know this can be dangerous, but don’t worry I have high standards. I am holding out for just the right person. I have been in love one time in my life. While the heartbreak was unbearable for a while, it is so nice to know that I have the ability to love and be loved. I spent a long time believing I was not loveable…

Lights – City lights, Christmas lights….its all magical, particularly when the city is lit up for Christmas. I can’t really put into words what it is; there is just something about the way it makes me feel. The way people look in the soft light. There was this one night on a boat trip with my family. We anchored out in the water for the night within sight of the light house at Cape Lookout. I ended up sleeping on the fly bridge because the air got too stagnant in the cabin. I watched the soft light of the light house go round and round and listened to the water lapping the side of the boat until I feel asleep. I wish I had been able to share that moment with someone!

Laughter – I love laughing and I love making people laugh even more! It just makes ya feel good. There was the tiny little 6 year old at the barn the other night. One of the horses was making a funny face because he wanted a treat. She thought it was the funniest thing ever and every time he made the funny face she did this deep uncontrollable belly laugh. She had everyone in the barn cracking up.

Learning – I’m a professional student so this one better be on my list. But I love learning more than just about what I do at school. I love learning about anything…so bring it.

Lavender – One of my favorite smells. I am a little obsessed. Lavender scented everything….fabric softener, glade plug-ins, body wash, conditioner, massage oil, etc.

Long Walks – I am always up for a long walk! My neighborhood is an awesome place to do this too…tons of old historic houses with some gorgeous architecture to discover. There are also quite a few historic landmarks…such as St. Johns Church where Patrick Henry gave his “Give me liberty or give me death” speech…coolest neighborhood ever. But I love walking anywhere I go. It really makes you slow down and take it all in. It is extra nice if you have someone to share it with.

L word – What lesbian doesn’t like an entire TV series dedicated to girls getting it on…and maybe a little about their journey through life...

Licking – Ummmm use your imagination. I like it….alot.

Listening – I LOVE listening to music. Sometimes I like it for the lyrics and sometimes I just like it for way all of the sounds come together and paint a picture for me. I must have been conceived to some slow smooth jazz song….that is what moves me the most.
