Fall with friends

Brilliant weekend with roomates from undergrad. Ahhhh...it is so nice to have friends without any expectations. We get together about twice a year to reconnect and have FUN! The weekend before last, they both came to me and I did my best to show them a good time.

First stop was the haunted forest. Usually these things make me laugh, but this one...I wanted to go home halfway through. We finished it and decided at the end that we had alot of fun (and needed to go home and change our panties).

Pre-haunted forest. It was freakin cold and we had to wait FOR-EVER. So we took pictures of ourselves.

Next stop, apple picking. I figured we could drive out west a bit and enjoy the changing foliage while picking some delicious fall produce. Unfortunately, the foliage was not cooperating, but the apple pickin was good.

Post apple picking we needed to take a load off, so we headed to a nearby winery. It was perfect. The weather was perfect, the view was perfect, the wine was perfect. A slightly different speed of drinking than what we used to do back in the day, but at least we remained coherent enough to take in our beautful surroundings.

Almost exactly 7 years ago. We are all as drunk as we look and don't remember taking that picture....good times.

We polished off the day with dinner and a scary movie. And of course, more alcohol. Has anyone tried the woodchuck cider fall seasonal flavor. Delicious.

We watched the new nightmare on elm street movie. It was boring and lame.

Enjoy the pictures. Be jealous. It was awesome. Or, if you live in the area, i give both places two thumbs up. Go check them out!

  1. Makes me wanna go apple picking now. Except it's cold here already. I wonder if there is an inside apple orchards around here anywhere?
Anyway, I love before and after pictures of friends. That's the best!
