Below is a post that someone on I am friends with on facebook just posted. I am furious! Do I say something or do I just unfriend him?

Me :First of all, not all gays enjoy wearing pink scarves. Secondly, if they want to wear a pink scarf while they put their life at risk for me, I will ship them a couple extras.

Him: People always get pissy about opinions. You wouldn't trust your life with someone whom you disagreed with their character and judgment would you? That is what I am saying I disagree with their life choice and think it's poor judgment so I most likely wouldn't want them as a wingman on the battlefield. People should respect that opinion as well.

Him: You expressed your opinion and I expressed mine. All I am saying it that is absurd to judge someone's abilities on the battlefield based on who they are sleeping with? So do you also group adulterers, liars, cheaters etc into that group or do you not consider those poor judgement?

I have unfriended people for their homophobic and bigited chatter. I have to deal with that enought at work. Why would I want to deal with it some place that is to be "fun"?
ReplyDeleteI had to unfriend a family member - he responded to a status I posted with something so horribly and utterly homophobic that I decided to show him the unfriend door...
