Job Update

Sorry about the venting in the previous post. I needed to get that out!

A few posts ago I had mentioned a job offer that I had gotten and then lost. Well it turns out the guy got the cart before the horse. He emailed me a week later saying that while I was his top choice, his funding hadn't worked out the way he had hoped and it didn't fit my needs. All that stress for nothing....well sort of...

It WAS a little ego boost that a researcher of his level had no problem telling me that I was top choice.

This also makes me hopeful that something great will come along for me. It's just hard to see that, since currently there is only one job that I would really even consider...
